Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has admitted that the team’s defensive play is still not comparable to title-fighting rivals Liverpool.

         Manchester City takes the top of the table with great performance. But the Spaniard pointed out that it comes from holding the ball against the team and playing attacking against their opponents. If you look at each person, the team’s defensive game is not that good.

         “It’s football if you look at our players individually. We didn’t have a good defensive ufabet game. We are not like that,” said Pep. “So with Bernardo (Silva), Gundogan, Kevin (De Bruyne), Raz (Sterling), Riyad (Mahrez. ) Even Joao (Cancelo), Alex (Zinchenko), we didn’t have a good defensive game.”

          “But we have the ball, the ball is the only reason for your stability. What you do with it – it’s the only reason – you create chances, it’s the ball, you concede few goals, it’s the ball, it’s how you play in midfield – if the midfielder can handle it. You have stability in the defense and positive energy in the front.”

         “Without it The same players would lose a lot of chances. Against Newcastle it was as simple as that – our third or fourth pass, play with the ball, go forward, attack quickly.”
