The Manchester Evening News reports that Manchester City are preparing to raise funds to sell players in order to buy Dortmund striker Erling Haaland during the period. Summer

         City have just sold forward Ferran Torres to Barcelona for 55 million euros plus 10 million euros in options by boss Pep Guardiola. The team confirmed that they will not find anyone to add during the January market.

          According to local media reports. City are set to release three more players in order to raise funds for Haaland in the summer.

         Pedro Porro, the winger who is currently on loan at Sporting Lisbon. He is expect to cost around £8 million. With Japanese centre-back Ko Itacura, currently on loan at Schalke. One that is around 5 million pounds and striker Morgan Rogers. Who is loan to Bournemouth with an option to buy at 9 million pounds.

         As we know, Manchester City will have to compete. With the big bucks across Europe who are also interest in Haaland.

Haaland scored 38 goals and registered 11 assists in the 2022/23 season, meaning the Norwegian recorded 49 goal contributions in just 56 appearances for City in his debut season at the Etihad.

Haaland finished the season as the top scorer in the Premier League and Champions League, with an average match rating of 7.59 across all competitions for Guardiola’s side, making him the top performer at the club throughout the 2022/23 season.
