Former striker Mark Hughes has revealed he was furious when former boss Sir Alex Ferguson is release to Chelsea, but finally understood when he stepped up as manager.

         The former Wales striker is considered one of the key players of the “Red Devils” in the early days of “Dad”. But after the arrival of Eric Cantona and Andy Cole, the role of the referee was reduced and finally hit. Sold to Chelsea in 1995.

          Hughes said he was very dissatisfied at the time. And it took a very long time to accept it. which he revealed that now he still collects the letter that the boss gave

         “Sir Alex wants the right price. Use the best time and sell it for profit. From his point of view, it was a good deal. I wasn’t satisfied with it at the time. But looking back, I would have done the same,” Hughes said.

    “My relationship with Sir Alex as a player was ‘enough’. I became closer to him and understood his decision because I faced it too.”

         “But to be fair to Sir Alex, he sent me a letter a month later thanking you for my efforts for the club and the good times. I still keep that letter.”

         “I recently met him at a Walter Smith memorial and enjoyed being with him.”
